In head coach Clyde Tucker's final season, the Arlee Warriors finished the regular season with a team record 25 wins and then excelled at the state tournament by finishing fourth.

Arlee opened up state with a 59-56 victory over Culbertson with then junior Jesse Pfau leading the team with 17 points. That advanced them to the semifinals where they fell to Power, 59-58.

They would bounce back with a 59-56 victory over the Western C divisional champion, Drummond.

"We knew we could beat them to prove we were the best in the west," senior Kyle Felsman said.

Senior Kody Morigeau had 18 points to lead the Warriors in the contest.

Arlee would fall to Culbertson 43-41 in the consolation game for fourth place at state.

It was certainly something to be proud of and the community backed their athletes.

"...you have random people coming up to you, congratulating you, telling you ‘good job at state.' It's like ‘thank you. I don't know who you are, but thank you,'" Felsman said.
