Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding

*The following district court proceeding took place Jan. 19.

-State of Montana vs. Cynthia Courville; 51. The matter before the Court is answer petition to revoke. Attorney Ted Fellman indicates the Defendant intends to admit some of the allegations. The Court finds the admissions are sufficient and the Defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The parties are prepared for sentencing. The Court commits the Defendant to the DOC for eight years with six years suspended on Count I and commits the Defendant to the DOC for eight years with six years suspended on Count II. The sentence imposed on Count II is to run concurrent to the sentence imposed on Count I. Defendant is to receive credit for all time in custody. The Court recommends Passages followed by pre-release if it meets with the approval of the DOC. All original conditions are re-imposed.

Lake County District Court, Judge Christopher presiding

*The following district court proceedings took place Jan. 20.

-State of Montana vs. James Wasson; 22. The matter before the Court is sentencing. For the offense of burglary, a felony, the Court commits the Defendant to the DOC for a term of five years.

-State of Montana vs. Josiah Kinyon; 20. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, Count I, criminal possession of dangerous drugs, Count II and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, Count III, misdemeanors. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on March 17 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Danielle Lawler; 31. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, attorney Bob Long indicates that the parties have reached a plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of criminal endangerment, a felony, Count I. The Court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the Defendant guilty of the charge. PSI ordered. Sentencing is set for Feb. 24 at 9 a.m.

Justice Court, Judge Wall presiding

*The following justice court proceedings took place Jan. 14-20.

-White, Jason M.; 24. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater – first offense. Fined $400 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-Watt, Robert W.; 33. Speeding on non-interstate – exceed day limit of 70 mph. Fined $70. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail and 178 days suspended. Jail completed 3/17/10. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $350 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. Credited for 64 hours. Operating without liability insurance in effect – second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended. Credited for 64 hours.

-Erickson, James A.; 55. Reckless driving. Fined $300 and 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

-Lamarr, Thomas L.; 23. Speeding – exceed restricted/special zone speed limit established by department. Fined $830.

-McGreevey, Edward J.; 79. Driving without a valid driver’s license – expired more than 180 days. Fined $50.

-Fritsen, Alyssa V.; 20. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18) – first offense. Fined $100.

-Phillips, Whitney N.; 23. Displaying license plates assigned to another vehicle. Fined $50.

-Barragan, Eduardo N.; 27. Fail to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle – first offense. Fined $150. MT resident operate w/foreign DL over 60 days. Fined $100.

-Siegfried, David A.; 51. Operating with expired registration – failure to reregister. Fined $65.

-Flynn, Dean A.; 27. Driving under the influence of alcohol – first offense. Fined $400 and 365 days in jail with 365 days suspended. Served 24 hours from 1/19 to 1/20/11.

-McClure, Tristan T.; 18. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (under age 18) – first offense.

-Adams, Travis W.; 25. Operating with expired registration – failure to reregister. Fined $65.

-Zeiler, Charles H. Jr.; 34. ROW violation – fail to obey requirements of yield sign. Fined $50.

-Evans, George B.; 43. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 and two days in jail. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance – third or subsequent offense. Fined $500 and five days in jail.

-Stewart, Alan H.; 39. Privacy in communications – first offense. Fined $300.

-Haun, Patrick A.; 47. Criminal mischief pecuniary loss less than $1,500. Fined $300 and one day in jail. Disorderly conduct. Fined $60.

-Clark, Delta D. M.; 25. ROW violation – fail to yield to vehicle on through highway. Fined $50. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance – third or subsequent offense. Fined $500 and one day in jail.

-Staat, Kasey; 16. Operating with expired registration – failure to reregister. Fined $50.

-Randall, Justin R.; 29. Disorderly conduct. Fined $50 and 10 days in jail. Criminal possession of dangerous drugs – marijuana- first offense. Fined $100 and six days in jail with five days suspended. Credited one day.

-Mitchell, Cameron; 48. Operating without liability insurance in effect – first offense. Fined $250 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
