*The following district court case took place June 22 and 29.

- State of Montana vs. Dusty Seyler; This matter before the court for sentencing. For the offense of sexual assault, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of five years, no part of which is suspended. Defendant is to receive credit for time while in custody but none for time while in probation but not in custody. In addition court approves placement of defendant at boot camp provided it meets with approval of DOC. In the event that defendant is released, all original conditions are re-imposed.

- State of Montana vs. Mandy Moran; This matter before the court for sentencing. Recommendations pursuant to plea agreement. For the amended offense of threats and other improper influence in official and political matters, a felony, the court defers imposition of sentence for two years. The defendant is to serve 15 days in LCJ within three months from today's date.

- State of Montana vs. James Wilson Allen; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of burglary, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court denies defendant's motion for reduction in bail. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, June 29, 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing Monday, August 1, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Frank Wright; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of partner or family member assault, third or subsequent offense, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant remains at liberty. This matter is set for an omnibus hearing on Wednesday, August 17, 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing Monday, October 31, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Josiah Kinyon; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, count I; criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a misdemeanor, count II; and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, count III. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The defendant remains at liberty. Omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, August 10, 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing October 17, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Travis Curtis Lozeau; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of theft, a felony, count I. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant remains at liberty. Omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, August 17, 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing Monday October 31, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Janeva Albert; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, count I and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, count II. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant is not in custody. Omnibus hearing is set for Thursday, August 18, 9 a.m. Jury trial is set for September 26.

- State of Montana vs. Cherish LaChance; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, count I. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Omnibus hearing is set for Thursday, August 25, 9 a.m. Jury trial is set for October 24.

- State of Montana vs. Debbie Marry-Hawkins; This matter before the court for sentencing. For the amended offense of criminal endangerment, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of two years. Parties jointly recommend that the defendant be placed at MASC to be screened and placed in an appropriate treatment program. The court recommends conditional release in the event the defendant successfully completes all recommended treatment programs.

- State of Montana vs. Ronald Romas; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, counts I and II, felonies. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The defendant remains at liberty. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing Thursday, July 14, 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing Monday, August 22, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Conan Louie; This matter before the court for omnibus hearing. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant sworn and understands the rights he is waiving. The court inquires. Defendant admits committing the offense of incest, a felony, count I. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. PSI is ordered. Sentencing is set for Thursday, August 25, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Dustin Seyler; This matter before the court to answer petition to revoke. The court finds the state provided sufficient evidence to support the petition and revokes the defendant's suspended sentence. Ready for sentencing. Recommendations by counsel. In DC-03-143 for the offense of theft, counts I, III, IV and V, and forgery, count VI, felonies, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for one year to run concurrent to the sentence imposed in DC-06-156. In DC-06-156 for the offense of theft, count I, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of seven years with three years suspended and would recommend defendant be considered for chemical dependency treatment. Previous conditions are re-imposed.

- State of Montana vs. Autumn Yamelst; This matter before the court to answer petition to revoke. The court finds the state provided sufficient evidence to support the petition and revokes the defendant's suspended sentence. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for three years and would recommend defendant be considered for chemical dependency and mental health treatment followed by pre-release. Previous conditions are re-imposed.
