Among Other Things

Here’s something a little different this week. These pictures were taken from the corner of Main Street and Fourth Avenue in Polson. The top one is from the late 19teens or early ‘20s. The lower photo, of course, was snapped last week from the same corner.

The old Model Bakery and Café is now the Big Sky Bistro. The large two story building at the corner of Main and Third is now occupied by Tradewinds Realty.

Can’t tell you who the tenants of the other business buildings in the blockwere, but some of those buildings on both sides of the street are still in use! Remodeled, renovated, rewired, and updated — but still functional. Kinda like me, only nine or 10 years older.
