George Vulles

George Vulles, 75, of St. Ignatius, passed away of natural causes at St. Patrick’s Hospital on Monday, July 18, 2011. He was born Jan. 8, 1936 in Plains, Mont., the youngest of 10 children born to Daisy (Meljie) and Mike Vulles.

Preceding him in death were his parents and seven brothers, Bobby, Mike, Don, Sam, Steve, Melvin and Val. He is survived by his sisters, Darlene (Glen Rummel) of Plains and Dorothy Walbridge of Mullan, Idaho, several nieces and nephews, and Wes and Sandy MacDonald of Polson, and their daughter, Traci (Darrin) Reid of Missoula, who he always said were his family.

George requested no formal services. Military honors will be presented at the St. Ignatius Senior Citizen Center, on Saturday, July 30, at noon, with a luncheon following.
