RONAN — St. Luke Community Healthcare Network is offering $500 college scholarships to high school seniors at seven area high schools. Counselors at Arlee, Charlo, Hot Springs, Polson, Ronan, St. Ignatius and Two Eagle River have received the scholarship application instruction sheet.

The yearly presentation of $3,500 to area high school graduates has been named in honor of longtime employee and former St. Luke director of nursing Rosemary Miller.

The basic criteria for a Rosemary Miller Memorial Scholarship is a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Other factors that will be considered are activities, honors, awards, community service activities and the applicants education objectives.

Scholarship applications are available at any of the seven high school counselor’s offices or at St. Luke Community Hospital and must be returned to the attention of the Administration at St. Luke no later than April 15, 2011.
