Gary E. Plummer Chief obituary
Gary E. Plummer “Chief,” 73, of Polson passed away on Tuesday, March 22 in Polson.
Born on Nov. 24, 1937 in Browning, Mont., he was the son of Charles and Valerie Plummer. Gary graduated high school in Anacortes, Wash. in 1956 where he was a star basketball player. He later went on to become a longtime commercial fisherman in the great northwest and loved to play his guitar and sing with his friend, Jim.
Besides his parents, Gary is preceded in death by many great relatives and friends.
Gary is survived by his longtime companion and wife, Dawn; his children, Vicke Kimple, BethAnn (Wade) Oberg, Debbie Adams, Mike Plummer, and Melinda (Steve) Skagseth; two brothers, Tom (Sandy) Plummer and John Plummer; two sisters, Donna (Paul) Roof and Darlene Harnen; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
