Grob and Peissig win Lake City Open

POLSON — Amateur Troy Peissig and professional Mike Grob won
their respective divisions at the Lake City Open last weekend by
both finishing 1-under par
POLSON — Amateur Troy Peissig and professional Mike Grob won their respective divisions at the Lake City Open last weekend by both finishing 1-under par. Grob, from Billings, defeated Ryan Malby on the first playoff hole to win the $3,000 winners check. Peissig, of Missoula, had a five-shot cushion over Ryan Fritz, Jerry Pearsall, and Steve Lucas.
It was the 21st playing of the Open and featured 30 professional players along with 114 amateurs. The Lake City Open proceeds benefit the Polson Dollars for Scholars program and is their largest fundraiser of the year. Dollars for Scholars helps provide scholarships to Polson High School graduating seniors.
