Doris (Pat) A. Webb

Doris (Pat) A. Webb, 87, of Polson passed away on Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital following years of ill health.  Pat was born on her brother’s birthday in 1923 in the railroad station at Pompeys Pillar, Mont.  

Her father was a frequently transferred Northern Pacific Station Master, which meant that Pat attended 13 schools in Montana, graduating from Havre High School.  While attending school in Cut Bank she met her future husband, Carlyle (Chic) Webb.

Pat and Chic owned Flowers By Carlyle for 50 years.  The business included a greenhouse, growing fields and flower shop.  She was the charter president of the Jaycees, held many offices in Soroptomists, was Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, Chapter 53, served on boards for the Rainbow for Girls and DeMoley among many other community activities.

Pat is survived by her husband, Chic at the family home, daughter Dr. Khelly S.J. Webb, Long Beach, Calif., son Craig and his wife Carmille, Mesquite, Nev., sister Virginia and husband William Green of Oregon City, Ore., brother Emmitt of Whidbey, Wash. and numerous nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Polson. Internment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
