Nelson Matthew Howard (BigSam)

Nelson Matthew “Matt” Howard (BigSam), 41 of Arlee passed away on May 18 at St. Patrick hospital in Missoula. A wake began Thursday at the Arlee Community Center on Powwow Road with Prayer Services Saturday evening. Funeral services were held Sunday in the Center with burial following in the Jocko Cemetery.

Marilyn D. Dougherty

Marilyn D. Dougherty, 82, of Ronan, MT, and formerly of Vaughan, MT, passed away on Friday, May 20. A memorial service will be held in Great Falls in July for her and her husband, Wilfred Bill Dougherty, who passed away March 11, 2011. E. George Markin

A memorial service for E. George Markin will be Saturday, June 4 at 11 a.m. at the Mission Valley Masonic Lodge in Polson. He passed away Dec. 2, 2010. All who knew George are welcome.
