*The following district court proceedings took place Oct. 5.

-State of Montana vs. John Hendrickx: The matter before the court is sentencing. The court commits Defendant to DOC for 13 months to be placed in an appropriate correctional facility to be determined by the DOC following which Defendant is committed to five years DOC or MSP all suspended consecutive to 13 months. Defendant is authorized to self report to WATCH on Oct. 13, 2011 and is ordered to be there at least 15 minutes early.

-State of Montana vs. Buffy Antonietti: The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of issuing a bad check, a common scheme, a felony, count I. Omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at 9 a.m. and jury trial is set for Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Randy Lee McBroom: The matter before the court is hearing on the merits. In DC-06-03, the court commits defendant to DOC for three years no part of which is suspended and in DC-06-27 the court commits defendant to DOC for five years with three suspended for a total sentence of eight years in the DOC with three years suspended. The sentence imposed in DC-06-27 is to run consecutive to the sentence imposed in DC-06-03.

Lake County District Court, Judge Christopher presiding

*The following district court proceedings took place Oct. 6.

-State of Montana vs. Vernon Tenas: The matter before the court is for an omnibus hearing. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of Criminal Production or Manufacturing of Dangerous Drugs, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. PSI ordered and sentencing is set for Thursday, Nov. 17 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Debra Bird: The matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of Criminal Endangerment, a felony, the court defers imposition of sentence for a period of three years. In addition, the defendant is committed to the Lake County Jail for a term of 45 days. In the event the defendant successfully completes an inpatient chemistry dependency treatment program, the 45 days in jail time will be satisfied.

-State of Montana vs. Gerald Sharp Jr.: The matter before the court is sentencing on revocation in DC-08-183 and sentencing in DC-11-40. In DC-08-0183, the court revokes the defendant’s suspended sentence. For the offense of Criminal Endangerment, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of four years and 335 days, all suspended. Previous conditions are re-imposed. In DC-11-40, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for a term of 13 months. In addition, the defendant is committed to the DOC for a term of five years with all that time suspended. The sentence imposed in DC-11-40 and DC-08-183 shall run consecutively.

-State of Montana vs. Michael Charlo: The matter before the court is for sentencing on revocation in DC-07-199 and sentencing in DC-10-165. In DC-10-165, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of 15 years with 10 years suspended. In DC-07-199, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a felony, the court revokes the defendants suspended sentence. The court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of five years, all suspended. Previous conditions re-imposed.

-State of Montana vs. Scott McAfee: The matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of theft, a felony, Count I, the court commits the defendant for the DOC for a term of five years, for Burglary, a felony, Count II, the court commits the defendant to 10 years with five years suspended. For theft, a felony, Count III, the court commits the defendant to 10 years with five years suspended. For Burglary, a felony, Count V, the court commits the defendant to one year. For theft, a felony, Count VII, the court commits the defendant to 10 years with five years suspended and Burglary, a felony, Count IX, for one year. Previous conditions are pre-imposed.

-Routzen, Joseph A.; 21. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle – first offense. Fined $150.

-Bernier-Shely, Monette F.; 57. Operating a vehicle without liability insurance in effect – second offense. Fined $350 with 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended. Operating a vehicle with an expired registration. Fined $100.

-Shepherd, Michelle R.; 33. Driving without a valid drivers license. Fined $150 with 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle – owner and operator – third or subsequent offense. Fined $50 with 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-Mielke, Donald R.; 23. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 with 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended and two months deferred. If has not paid restitution then must serve. Operating without liability insurance in effect – second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-Hill, Richard A.; 39. Stop sign violation. Fined $50. Traveling in the wrong direction on a one-way street. Fined $50.

-Black, Donald S.; 42. Criminal trespassing to property, a misdemeanor. Fined $200 with 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

-Kinyon, Alaina S.; 18. Operating without liability insurance in effect – first offense. Fined $150.

-Printz, Ronald J.; 68. Operating without liability insurance in effect – first offense. Fined $150 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended. Following too closely. Fined $50.

-Losleben, Cynarra C.; 33. Turning when unsafe to do so. Fined $50.

*The following Ronan City Court proceedings took place Sept. 20 - Oct. 11.

-Trott, Tara M.; 24. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle – owner and operator – third or subsequent offense. Fined $500.

- Darnell, Rick T.; 44. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or Greater – first offense. Fined $300 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-Ostrander, Donald R.; 19. Processing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 – first offense. Fined $100.

-Lehuta, Bradley A.; 30. Operating with expired registation – failure to register. Fined $50. Driving without a valid driver’s license – expired less than 180 days. Fined $50 and six months in jail with six months suspended. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. Must bring a valid Montana Driver’s License to the court by Dec. 1. Operating with expired registration, Fined $50. Operating without liability insurance in effect – first offense. Fined $250 with 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. If six months of continuous insurance is brought to this court then the two days in jail will be waived. Bring insurance card by Dec. 1, 2011 and March 1, 2012.
