Ella E. (Borntrager) Yutzy

Ella E. (Borntrager) Yutzy, 81, passed away Oct. 19, 2011 in Missoula.

Born in Yoder, Kan. on Nov. 20, 1929 to Eli and Mattie (Schrock) Borntrager, she married David G. Yutzy on April 18, 1951 in Fairbank, Iowa.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, they lived in holy matrimony for over 60 years. To this union were born 10 children.

Survivors include her husband; children Martha (m. to Ervin Lambright) Bloomfield, Iowa; Rosana, Red Oak, Iowa; Alvin (m. to Naomi Wagler) Huntsville, Ark.; Lester (m. to Rachel Wagler) Nickerson, Kan.; Wilma (m. to Stephen Wagler) Bird-in-Hand, Penn.; Rudy (m. to Marietta Yoder) Linn, Mo.; Jonas (m. to Marianna Mast) Norwood, Mo.; David Leroy (m. to Christina Yoder) Unity, Wis.; Gideon (m. to Anna Schrock) Rexford, Mont. and Esther (m. to Jonas Yoder) St. Ignatius, Mont. with whom they made their home, 62 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; three brothers Willie, Jonas and Mose; three sisters Ida, Clara and Mary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepmother Susie, three sisters and a brother.

Ella’s family loved her very much, she took an interest in each one. She never missed a birthday or anniversary. Ella accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal savior and the family believes she is now gathering flowers for the master’s bouquet and singing at the feet of Jesus.

Services were held Saturday, Oct. 22 at 9:30 a.m. at the Amish Community Center in St. Ignatius with interment following in the Amish Cemetery.
