Charlo had a tough schedule to finish the season as they faced undefeated Supeior and Mission Valley rival Arlee in their last two matches.

On Tuesday at Superior, the Lady Vikings came out strong against the Lady Bobcats and were tied a game apiece against the 10-C powerhouse. After Superior won a close first game 25-20, the Lady Vikings took the second by a score of 25-19.

The Lady Bobcats buckled down in the third game and won it 25-11 and then the fourth and clinching game 25-8.

Senior Kinley Pope had eight kills in the match while senior Dawn Blevins has three blocks, 20 digs and 12 assists.

On Saturday night, the Lady Vikings traveled down to face the Arlee Scarlets in a showdown with heavy district tournament implications. Arlee came out on top with the 3-0 victory over Charlo, and both teams ended tied for second place in District 10-C.

Arlee won the first game 25-15, and then came out even stronger in the second game to win 25-12. Charlo made things close in the third game but fell 25-20.

Junior Rachel Hoyt notched seven kills and 11 digs.

Senior Deondra Brown also had seven kills in the match. Dawn Blevins was again a force at the net with five blocks, and she had seven assists in the match, as did Derika Stipe.

Charlo will play at the District 10-C Tournament this weekend in Noxon.
