Chief Cliff area fire rating improved
CHIEF CLIFF — The Chief Cliff Fire Service Area (CCFSA) recently underwent a Public Protection Classification Survey by the ISO to analyze the structural fire suppression delivery system in the communities served by the CCFSA. These communities include Elmo, Dayton, Proctor and Lake Mary Ronan.
As a result of their inspection, the rating for the CCFSA has been improved from a 10 to a nine, which may result in significant savings in the insurance rates of individual homeowners in the service area.
If you live in these communities, it is to your benefit to contact your insurance agent and let them know that the ISO rating is now a nine. With that information in hand, they will be able to contact the ISO to determine if your insurance will be positively impacted.
