Volleyball: Arlee trounces Noxon

NOXON - After sitting out Arlee's first game against Superior because she hadn't been cleared from a summer sickness, senior setter Cortney Dix made up for lost time and led the Scarlets to a 3-0 victory over district rival Noxon.

Dix had 19 assists and seven kills in the victory while senior Becca Nelson was deadly behind the line with six service aces. She wasn't the only one though, as Arlee finished the game with 18 service aces as a team.

Whitney Malatare had nine digs while Mahalia Hendren had two blocks in the matchup.
