Ronan

Our yard sale went well last week, and we would like to thank all who donated to it. A special thanks to all who helped set up, take down and worked at it. If you have never had a yard sale, you can’t possibly know just how much work they are. Anyway, we were well pleased with the results, and the funds will go toward various programs for seniors in Lake County.

The card party will be held in Ronan, on the 19th, at 7 p.m., and the foot clinic will be here on Wednesday, the 21st, at 10:30 until noon.

Don’t forget the Shepherd’s Table, held here each Tuesday night at 5 p.m. This is a really great meal put on by the various churches in Ronan, and they always do a great job. This is open to the public at no cost, but donations are gladly accepted.

Our menu for the following week is: Wednesday (14th) is ham and scalloped potatoes, Friday (16th) is turkey casserole, Monday (21st) is Salisbury steak, and Friday (23rd) is goulash.

Come on in and join us for some great food and fellowship. We serve on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon and on the second Thursday of the month at 5 p.m. We have BINGO after lunch on Monday and Friday, and the pool table is always ready to use. We also have a large selection of books and puzzles to borrow or exchange.

Have a great week, and remember that Christmas is only a little over three months away. (I’m sure that is just what you wanted to hear.)
