Karla (Missy) Baasch

Karla (Missy) Baasch, age 41, was born Aug. 9, 1964 and died Sept. 14, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her father, Reggie Sims, and brother, Tim Sims.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Baasch, and mother, Carol Sims, both of Polson; and sister-in-law, Donna Sims of Columbia Falls. Missy also left behind three stepsons, Garrett Parks, of Missouri, Malden Baasch of Illinois, Matthew Baasch of Honolulu, Nikki Watkins of Missouri and six granddaughters and three grandsons.

Missy loved life — swimming, water skiing, motorcycles, boating, music and dancing. She loved spending time with family and friends.

Death came after a long illness, ending at St. Luke Extended Care in Ronan. Memorial services will be help on Sept. 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Mission Valley Elks Lodge in Polson.
