TIGER/Skyline Drive update

POLSON — Crews from LSJ Jensen have been working on the final Phase 1 and 2A contract items which consist of landscaping, paving, water service installation, and clean-up. Paving is expected to be completed this week and will conclude Phase 1 of the project.

There was a traffic accident involving a taxi cab and a front-end loader and this prompted review of safety procedures. The public is asked to be careful as they navigate around construction related equipment and vehicles. A typical front-end loader weighs 10 times that of an average commuter vehicle and moves relatively slowly.
