Daniel A. Fryberger
Buckley resident Daniel Adelbert Fryberger died on April 18, 2012 at the age of 87.
He was born Dec. 11, 1924 in Gem, Alberta, Canada to George and Elizabeth Fryberger. His family moved to Montana and ran a dairy farm. Daniel attended college in Bozeman before becoming a World War II (Navy) and Korean War (Army) veteran.
He moved to Seattle to work for the Corps of Engineers. Daniel met the love of his life, Norma Jean West, in Charlo, Mont. in 1945 and married her in 1950. They moved to Buckley to be closer to family. Daniel loved to fish and travel to Las Vegas. He was a great listener, carpenter, plumber, electrician and mechanic who was very caring and always put his family first.
He is survived by his wife Norma Fryberger, daughter, Linda and husband John; son, Bob and wife Sonja; daughter, Barb and husband Dave; daughter, Deb and husband Brad; brother, Ralph and wife Gladys; brother, Joe and wife LaDonna; sister, ZoeAnn and husband Ed; sister, Mary and husband Gene; sister, Marge and sister-in-law Nancy; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth, father, George, and son, Danny.
