Gladys Malmstrom

Polson resident, Gladys Malmstrom, age 85, went home to her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2012. Gladys was born April 5, 1926 in Orange City, Iowa to John and Maggie (Oordt) Uittenbogaard, and later moved to Washington state at age 7. Gladys also resided in Arizona and Montana. Gladys enjoyed spending time with friends and family, as well as cooking and sewing.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Malmstrom; longtime companion, Paul Speck; brothers, Gerald, Arthur and Andrew. Gladys is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Carol Sturm, a special friend and caregiver, as well as other friends who showed compassion during this difficult time.
