Polson man pleads not guilty to drug charges

POLSON— A Polson man pled not guilty to three charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

According to charges on July, 31, Lake County Deputy Ryan Funke conducted a probation search of Anthony Coble ‘s vehicle where he located a zip lock baggie and a sandwich baggie filled with what appeared to be hallucinogenic mushrooms containing the dangerous drug psilocybin. 

Deputy Funke located several other pills that the defendant identified as “LSD” the acronym for the dangerous drug lysergic acid diethylamide. 

 Court documents state Deputy Funke also located another pill that the defendant identified as “ecstasy” the street name for the dangerous drug MDMA or methyl-enedioxymethamphetamine. 

According to court documents the defendant told Deputy Funke that the mushrooms and pills belonged to him. 

 Omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Dec. 17 at 9 a.m.
