*The following district court cases took place Dec. 19.
-State of Montana vs. Danielle Sloan. The matter before the court is sentencing. The court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for 7 years, all of which are suspended for the offense of theft of identity, a felony.
-State of Montana vs. Allyson Girouard. The matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs - fourth or subsequent offense, the court defers imposition of sentence for 5 years. As part of the conditions the defendant is ordered to serve 30 days in Lake County Jail.
- State of Montana vs. Eddie Woodcock. The matter before the court is sentencing. The court defers imposition of sentence for 3 years. As conditions the defendant is ordered to serve 20 days in Lake County Jail within 90 days and is to receive credit for time already spent in custody and treatment program resulting in no additional time.
-State of Montana vs. Charles Charlo. The matter before the court is change of plea. Defendant admits commiting the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs - fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, Jan. 23 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Cheryl Matt. The matter before the court is for status hearing and hearing on the merits. The court finds the defendant’s addmissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for 2 years no part of which is suspended. Defendat is to receive full credit for time spent in custody.
- State of Montana vs. Michael Sanford. The matter before the court is for omnibus hearing. Defendant admits committting the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony the court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, Jan 16 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Patrick Runsabove. The matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of partner or family member assault, a felony the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for 5 years with all suspended but 30 days to be served in Lake County Jail within 120 days of sentencing. Defendant shall receive credit for jail time already served and for time spent in inpatient chemical dependancy program.

- State of Montana vs. Richard Davis. The matter before the court is change of plea. Defendant admits committing the offense of attempted escape, a felony. The court accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Richard Davis. The matter before the court is change of plea. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of criminal trespass, a misdemeanor and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. The court accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Elijah Barnaby. The matter before the court is for omnibus hearing.The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. The defendant admits committing the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Damien Bourdon. The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal possession with intent to distribute, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Leonard White. The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Elliot Scabbyrobe. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Dawna Michel. The matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of assault with a weapon, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for a term of 5 years with all suspended except 30 days to be served in Lake County Jail, time already served.
- State of Montana vs. Janice Ness. The matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of criminal possession with intent to distribute, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for a term of 10 years with all suspended. In addition the defendant shall complete 30 days inpatient chemical treatment program, defendant has already completed the 30 days at MCDC.
- State of Montana vs. Alex Finley Jr. The matter before the court is re-sentencing. Parties indicate that the sentence imposed on Aug. 2, 2012 was not a legal sentence. The sentence for the offense of criminal mischief exceeded the time that the defendant could serve. The court stated that if the defendant appeared before the court for revocation again it is the court’s intention to sentence the defendant to 5 years in the Montana State Prison. for the offense of criminal, mischief, a felony the defendant is sentenced to 5 years suspended and for criminal endangerment, a felony, the defendant is sentenced to 5 years all suspended, sentences are to run concurrent.

- Robert Santschi; 25. Operating a vehicle which has not been properly registered, a misdemeanor. Fined $465.
- Kimberley Johnson; 50. Reckless driving - first offense, a misdemeanor. 10 days in jail with 10 suspended. Fined $300.
- Kylie Reum; 23. Driving under the influence of alcohol - first offense, a misdemeanor. 1 day in jail. Fined $400.
- Merlyn Snyder; 31. Theft - obtain or exherts unauthorized control over property - first offense, a misdemeanor. 1 day in jail. Fined $ 300.
- Denise Cronkright; 53. Driving under the influence of alcohol -second offense, a misdemeanor. 7 days in jail. Fined $700. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance - first offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $250.
