Lake County District Court, Judge Christopher presiding

*The following District Court proceedings took place Feb. 9.

-State of Montana vs. William Pounds; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of Criminal Endangerment, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for a term of five years, with all of that time suspended.

-State of Montana vs. Laura Callahan; the matter before the court is omnibus hearing. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a felony. The court makes its findings accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding

*The following District Court proceedings took place Feb. 7.

-State of Montana vs. Valdena Curley; the matter before the court is sentencing. Recommendations pursuant to plea agreement. The court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for five years with all suspended but 60 days in Lake County Jail to be served within six months of today’s date. The court orders defendant to receive full credit for time while in custody.

-State of Montana vs. James Beene; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offenses of Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, Count I and driving while license is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor, Count II. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Beth Oldhorn; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Criminal possession with intent to distribute, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, March 14 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Mary Tewawina; the matter before the court to answer petition to revoke. The court finds the defendant’s admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The court defers imposition of sentence for two and a half years. All original conditions are re-imposed. Defendant is to receive full credit for time while in custody. The original 45 days are re-imposed with credit for time served. Defendant is authorized to be released when she completes this. Defendant is to receive full credit for time in custody in Arizona on the warrant also.

-State of Montana vs. Carl Draper, Jr. the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits to committing the amended offense of Assault, a misdemeanor, count I. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. The court sentences the defendant to six months in LCJ with all suspended but 128 days. Defendant is to receive credit for 128 days served and authorized defendant to be released immediately.

*The following justice court proceedings took place Feb. 3-9.

-Timothy Piedalue; 48. Driving under the influence. Fined $400 and 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

-Jennifer Evans; 37. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater - first offense. Fined $400 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

-Patricia Dellow; 48. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater - first offense. Fined $400 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

-Jonna Jordan; 44. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $350 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended.

-Terry Witman; 49. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater - second offense. Fined $600 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended.

-Albin Gohl; 84. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended.

-Justyna Belarde; 33. Aggravated driving under the influence.

Polson City Court, Judge Olson presiding

*The following city court proceedings took place Feb. 4-10.

-Christina Mitchell; 25. Obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. Fined $150.

-Shelly Rae Dargan; 26. Habitual offender operating a motor vehicle. Fined $65. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance - third and subsequent offense. Fined $65.

-Mariano Silva; 36. Driving under the influence of alcohol - first offense. Fined $300.

-William Taylor; 54. Disorderly conduct. Fined $100 and 10 days in jail with 10 suspended.

-David Sturdevant; 23. Careless driving. Fined $50.

-Robert Smith; 91. Stop sign violation. Fined $50.
