-State of Montana vs. Scott Koplin; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads Not Guilty to the charge of Burglary. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 12 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, May 21 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. James Dempsey; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads Not Guilty to the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 19 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, June 11 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Keya Birdsbill; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads Not Guilty to the charges of Assault with a Weapon, Counts I and II, felonies. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The defendant remains at liberty. The court sets this omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 19 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, June 11 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Tamaria Ely; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleas Not Guilty to the charge of Criminal Possession with Intent to Distribute. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 19 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, June 11 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Rebecca Gunhammer; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads Not Guilty to the charges of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, counts I and II, felonies. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 12 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, May 21 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Francois Burke; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a felony, the court commits Defendant to DOC for five years with none of that time suspended. The sentence is to run consecutive to the sentence imposed in DC-08-61. Defendant is to receive credit for all time while in custody.
-State of Montana vs. Francois Burke; the matter before the court is sentencing on revocation. The court commits Defendant to DOC for three years with two suspended. The sentence is to run consecutive to the sentence imposed in DC-11-65. Defendant is to receive credit for all time while in custody. d
-State of Montana vs. Ashley Justice; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, a felony. The court defers imposition of sentence for a period of three years. In addition, the defendant shall serve 30 days in the Lake County Jail and successfully complete a chemical treatment program if recommended by any evaluation done by the DOC.

*The following district court proceedings took place Feb. 15.
-State of Montana vs. Savonnah Ryan; the matter before the court is sentencing. Recommendations pursuant to plea agreement. The court defers imposition of sentence for fourt years.
-State of Montana vs. Roy Shostak; the matter before the court is sentencing. Recommendations pursuant to plea agreement. The court dommits Defendant to DOC for six years with all suspended except 14 days in Lake County Jail to be served within six months.
-State of Montana vs. Jimmy Graham; the matter before the court for sentencing. Recommendations pursuant to the plea agreement. The court commits defendant to DOC for five years with all suspended but 30 days in the Lake County Jail to be served within 120 days of today’s day.
-State of Montana vs. Buffy Antonietti; the matter before the court is a change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement is ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Issuing a Bad Check, common scheme, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant Guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, March 21 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Jennifer Hammond; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement is ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of Reckless Driving, a misdemeanor. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant Guilty of the charge. Recommendations pursuant to plea agreement. The court sentences Defendant to 90 days in the Lake County Jail with all suspended consecutive to TK-09-2024.
-State of Montana vs. Dallas Andrews; the matter before the court is answer petition to revoke. Revocation Acknowledgement of Rights is ordered filed. Defendant wishes to make admissions. The court finds the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The parties are prepared for disposition. The court commits defendant to DOC for 10 years with eight years suspended. Defendant is to receive credit for time while in custody.

-Jaycen Paul; 41. Reckless driving - first offense. Fined $300 and 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
-Cathy Jasso; 49. Operating with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater - first offense. Fined $400 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Driving without a valid driver’s license. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
-Kendra Gonzalez; 30. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - first offense. Fined $150. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250.
-Floyd Florek; 50. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - second offense. Fined $350 and 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.
