| January 4, 2012 4:24 PM

L. Hazelle Dasinger Steere, born July 26, 1921 in

Madoc, Mont., died peacefully Dec. 25, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Hazelle was married to Tony (Das) Dasinger for 41

years and Eugene Steere for 24 years.  She was the mother of Jim

Dasinger (Liz), Toni Dasinger Harmon (Dick) and Peggy Dasinger

Graham (Bob); grandmother of Laurie (Hammond/Harmon) Burchell

(Roger), William Harmon, Michael Graham (Catherine), Stephanie

Graham Kim (Won), Sarah Dasinger Scheper and Matt Dasinger;

great-grandmother to Patrick Burchell, Theresa Burchell, Caydon

Glasper (Graham), Keeley Glasper (Graham), Danielle Harmon, Derek

Harmon, Natalie Harmon and Gavin Graham.  She also had many nieces

and nephews whom she greatly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands,

sister Vivian Vernon and brothers Al Mortinson and Jim Mortinson.

Hazelle and Das moved to Bozeman from Sidney, Mont. in 1952 with

three children, a dog, several birds and a tank full of fish.  They

owned and operated the Eagle Cleaners until 1972.

Hazelle enjoyed life and people and no one was ever a

stranger to her.  She was able to communicate with almost anyone,

which helped her in the business of running the Eagle Cleaners and

helped her successfully find, buy and sell the antique treasures

she loved in her shop “the Cellar” in Bozeman.

As a person Hazelle loved to sing, dance, cook, play

bridge, entertain, golf and work in her garden... not necessarily

in that order.  She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church,

member of Bath Zabbia 21, Daughters of the Nile and charter member

of Riverside Country Club.

Hazelle will be put to rest beside Das at the Sunset

Hills Cemetery in Bozeman, date to be determined. Should friends

desire, contributions may be sent to: Shriners Hospital for

Children, 911 W. 5th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99204.
