St. Ignatius
The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center will hold its annual meeting on Friday, Jan. 13 during the lunch period. Directors will be elected and reports will be given.
Seniors sang along with the Amish Youth Singers when they entertained during the evening meal on Wednesday, Dec. 28. The following are senior center activities for the rest of January: Jan. 4 roast turkey dinner, 5:30 p.m.; Jan. 5 quilters; Jan. 6 salmon loaf lunch; Jan. 9 pinochle, 1:30 p.m.; Jan. 10 Swedish meatballs lunch; Jan. 12 quilters. Bingo is played after almost every lunch.

There will be an AARP Driving Class here at the Center on Tuesday, Feb. 21. It will start promptly at 9 a.m. If you are interested in taking this class give us a call at 883-4735 and we’ll get you on the list.
The Toe Nail Clinic will be on Wednesday, Jan. 11 starting at 10:30 and going until noon. If you need your nails done give me a call and I’ll put you on the list. It is limited to only 10 people so be sure to give us a call at 883-4735.
The veterans aide will be here on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 10 to noon. If you are in need of their services, be sure to come on in. It is first come, first served and Roxanne is very helpful.
Just a friendly reminder, that there will be a board meeting here at the center on Friday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. I hope that you all have a really great week, stay dry and warm and if you made a New Year’s Resolution stay true, and we’ll talk again soon.
The scores for the Tuesday Afternoon Bowling are High Games-No Handicap Keith Ross 247, Frani Basta 217 and Larry Lawin 202. High Series-No Handicap had Keith Ross 633. Congratulations to Sharon Adamson, all three games over her average. They also have openings on this league for any bowlers 50 years and up. If you are interested or would like more information, give Frani a call at 883-1125 and she’ll be happy to visit with you.
Now for some card scores. Bridge for Dec. 27 had Ruth Baer first and Max Neeley second. Pinochle scores for Dec. 29 had Jan Kaschke first and Donna Cason second.
