BASKETBALL: Scarlets win second game

ARLEE - The Scarlets picked up their second win of the season

against district power Noxon (5-2), notching a 38-33 over the Lady

Red Devils.

After trailing 10-6 in the first, Arlee came back to take the

15-14 lead at halftime. While the game was close the rest of the

way, the Scarlets never let up and held on for the five-point

victory.

Mahalia Hendren continued her scoring excellence with 15 points and Whitney Malatare added 13.

Arlee is now 2-1 in the district, 2-5 overall.
