Here is what happened in basketball action last night in Lake

County. 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Ronan 51, Troy 37

TROY - After a close first quarter, Ronan exploded offensively in the second and third quarter for a 51-37 victory over Troy.

Brady Oakland led the way with 13 points and Marcus Hungerford had 10 and the Chiefs improved to 3-4 on the season.

PHILIPSBURG - Charlo got out to a quick start and never looked back against Philipsburg. The Vikings had a 34-15 halftime lead and extended their lead in the second half.

Stephen "The Big D" Delaney led Charlo with 15 points and Dillon had 14. Charlo improved their record to 7-1.

Loyola 62, Mission 37

MISSOULA - Loyola took and 36-21 halftime lead and extended it to a 62-37 victory over Mission on Saturday.

The Rams stayed undefeated in their district at 3-0. Mission's record is now 2-6.

Superior 61, Two Eagle River 51

SUPERIOR - The Bobcats came from behind to improve to 7-1 on the season with a 61-51 victory over Two Eagle of Saturday.

Three different Eagles scored in double digits, and Two Eagle had a 29-22 halftime lead but Superior went on a 16-6 run in the third to take the lead.

Skley Rossbach had 18 points for the 6-2 Eagles.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Ronan 40, Troy 36

Raymi Clairmont had a career-high 23 points and the Maidens picked up their third win of the season with a 40-36 decision over Troy.

It was also a season-high by one player for Ronan. Ronan jumped out to a 13-8 lead in the first and held a one point lead at halftime. After Troy took the lead in the third, the Maidens finished the game on a 12-7 run.

PHILIPSBURG - Charlo jumped out to a 40-11 lead at halftime and that was all she wrote as the Lady Vikings improved to 7-1 on the season with a 59-30 win.

Kinley Pope finished the game with 14 points and Rachel Hoyt had 12.
