BASKETBALL: Mission girls defeat Ronan

RONAN - Mission picked up their first win of the season with a

seven-point victory against Mission Valley Ronan on Tuesday.

After trailing in the first quarter by a point, Mission went on

a 16-4 run before halftime. In the second half, Ronan made a

comeback but the Bulldogs were able to hold on for the victory.

Bryanna Steele led Mission with 10 points and Loren Erickson had nine. For the Maidens, Raymi Clairmont had 10 points and Courtney Clairmont had eight.

Missions record is 1-7 overall and 1-3 in the district. Ronan is 3-4 overall and 0-4 in the district.
