Here is a recap of what happened last night in Lake County

basketball action. 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Superior 75, Arlee 44

Superior came out on fire and never let up, putting up a 75-44 victory over Arlee on Friday night.

The Lady Bobcats used a 21-4 run in the third quarter to put the game out of reach for the Scarlets despite 18 points by Alexis Shick.

Arlee's record is 3-5 on the season.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Flathead 71, Polson 48

Polson fell to Class AA Flathead on Friday night 71-48, despite getting double-digits from Tyler Krell and Cody Fischer.

Polson jumped out to a 15-11 lead in the first quarter over the Braves, who are ranked No. 5 in Class AA. Then Flathead went on a 27-14 run in the second quarter to take a commanding lead.

In the second half, Flathead's defense clamped down and held the Pirates to just 19 points.

Krell led the team with 15 points and Fischer added 11.

Polson's record is now 5-4 on the season.

Noxon 79, Two Eagle River 64

The Red Devils heated up on their home court and scored 49 points in the second half to take a 79-64 game from Two Eagle.

The Eagles jumped out to a 16-10 lead in the first quarter but Noxon came back in the second to take a 30-26 halftime lead.

In the second half, the Red Devils scorched the nets and took control of the game.

Marcus Brown notched 19 to lead the team, while Clayton "Mega Man" Malatare had 18 points and Skylar "Skywalker" Rossbach had 11.

Two Eagle's record is 8-4.

Superior 41, Arlee 23

Arlee's defense started out strong, but couldn't contain Superior in the second half as the Warriors dropped a 41-23 game to the Bobcats.

Arlee took an early 10-6 lead in the first quarter, but Superior came back and lead 15-14 at halftime. In the second half, the Bobcats held Arlee to nine points while scoring 26.

Sam Nelson was Arlee's leading scorer with seven points.

Arlee's record is now 4-6.
