-State of Montana vs. Thomas Wall; this matter before the court is arraignment. Acknowledgement of Rights is ordered filed. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. Omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 9 a.m. Jury trial is set for April 30.
-State of Montana vs. David Love; this matter before the court is arraignment. Acknowledgement of Rights is ordered filed. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of theft, a felony, Count I and Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, a felony, count II. Omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, March 28 at 9 a.m. Jury trial is set for June 4 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Nathan Whitefountain; the matter before the court is arraignment. Acknowledgement of Rights is ordered filed. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of solicitation (incest), a felony, Count I and incest, a felony, Count II. Omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, March 28 at 9 a.m. Jury trial is set for June 4 at 9 a.m.

*The following district court proceedings took place Thursday, Jan. 12.
-State of Montana vs. Jamie Dickson; the matter before the court is omnibus hearing. Acknowledgment of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant sworn and understands the rights she is waiving. The court inquires. Defendant admits committing the offense of Theft, a felony, count I. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, Feb. 16 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Wesley Charlo; the matter before the court is arraignment. Acknowledgement of rights ordered filed. Defendant is aware of his rights and the charge and possible punishment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of Failure to Register, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, March 26 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Lisa Francis; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, Count II, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of five years with all suspended but 30 days and for the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a misdemeanor, Count I, the court sentence defendant to six months in LCJ, all suspended. If the defendant sucessful completes 30 days of inpatient treatment, the defendant shall receive credit for her jail time. The defendant shall have six months from the date of sentencing to complete jail time or inpatient treatment program.
-State of Montana vs. Gale Eneas; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of two years with all suspended.
-State of Montana vs. Peter Aimsback, Jr., the matter before the court is adjudicatory hearing. The court finds the state provided sufficient evidence to support the petition and revokes the defendant’s deferred sentence. For the offense of Accountability (Deceptive practices), a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for five years with three years suspended and would recommend the defendant be placed at MASC for screening to an appropriate placement.
-State of Montana vs. Isaac Cordova, the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, a felony, Count I, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of 10 years with eight suspended with recommendations to Treasure State Boot Camp. The defendant may appeal the court’s ruling on the Defendant’s Motion to Suppress.
