*The following court proceedings took place May 23.
-State of Montana vs. James Beene; the matter before the court is sentencing. Recommendations pursuant to the plea agreement. On Count I, the court commits defendant to DOC for placement in an appropriate correctional facility for 13 months followed by a two-year commitment to DOC with all suspended and on Count II the defendant is sentenced to LCJ for six months with all suspended but two days. The sentence imposed on Count II is to run concurrent to the sentence imposed on Count I.
-State of Montana vs. Alan Kenmille; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of Partner or Family Member Assault, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, July 25 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Oct. 1 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Codey L. McKee-Asbury; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of Criminal Distribution of Dangerous Drugs, a felony, count I. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, July 25, at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Oct. 1 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Leroy Black III; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of Criminal Endangerment, a felony, count I and Theft, a felony, Count II. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Oct. 29 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Ron Melvin; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of Threats and Other Improper Influence in Offical and Political Matters, a felony, Count I. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Oct. 29 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Beau Wegner; the matter before the court is a change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement is ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Theft, a felony, Count I. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, July 11 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Susan Pierre; the matter before the court is adjudicatory hearing. For the offense of Criminal Distribution of Dangerous Drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for eight years with five suspended and would recommend defendant be considered for in-patient treatment followed by pre-release.
-State of Montana vs. Andrew Bigleggins; the matter before the court is change of plea. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Criminal Endangerment, a felony, Count I, Driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor, Count II, and Operating without Liability insurance in effect, a misdemeanor. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, July 12 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Arthur Matt; the matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of Criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, June 26 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Sept. 10 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Rebecca Gunhammer; the matter before the court is change of plea. The defendant admits to committing the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, Counts I and II, felonies and in DC-12-22 the defendant admits committing the offense of assault on a peace officer, Counts I and II, felonies. The court makes its findings and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, July 12 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Troy Wood; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony. The court accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty. Sentencing in this matter is set for Thursday, June 21 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Daryl Gebeau; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, July 26 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Sept. 10 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Richard Moulton II; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, July 26 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Sept. 10 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Wesley Charlo; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of failure to register, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of three years with all suspended by time served.
-State of Montana vs. Jacob O. Koening; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement previously filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. The defendant admits committing the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a misdemeanor, Count II in the amended information. The state agrees to defer prosecution on Count I, criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, for a period of 18 monhts. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Parties are prepared for sentencing. For the offense, the court sentences defendant to the LCJ for a term of six months with all that time suspended. As part of the condition for the deferred prosecution and suspended sentence the defendant must complete a CD evaluation, follow all recommendations and sign a waiver requesting the CD evaluation be sent to the county attorney’s office within 60 days of sentencing.
