Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding

*The following court proceedings took place on May 30.

-State of Montana vs. Bryan Healy; the matter before the court is answering a petition to revoke. Counsel indicates that defendant denies the addendum, however the defendant will admit an allegation in the petition to revoke. The court finds the defendant’s admission is sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The court commits the defendant to the DOC for three years, no part of which is suspended, to be placed in an appropriate facility to be determined by DOC.

-State of Montana vs. Francois A. Pepion; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, Count I. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, July 25 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Oct. 15 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Phillip J. Pierre; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of failure to give notice of change of address by sexual or violent offender, a felony, Count I. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, July 2 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, October 15 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Valerie Plant; the matter before the court is sentencing. Recommendations by counsel pursuant to plea agreement. The court commits the defendant to the DOC for 13 months to be placed in an appropriate correctional facility determined by the DOC. The defendant is also committed to DOC for two years with all time suspended.

Lake County District Court, Judge Christopher presiding

*The following court proceedings took place on May 31.

-State of Montana vs. Yancy McCrea; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for a term of five years with all suspended but 30 days. The court is allowing the defendant until September 15 to start serving his jail time or enter and complete an inpatient chemical dependency treatment program.

-State of Montana vs. Jerry Dickson; the matter before the court is omnibus hearing. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of criminal possession with intent to distribut, a felony, Count II. The court makes its findings accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, July 19 at 9 a.m.

*The following court proceedings took place May 25-31.

-Robert Steele; 29. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $450 and 10 days in jail with five days suspended. If he provides that valid driver’s license by Aug. 1 then jail time waived.

-Dalena Weaselhead; 20. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18) - first offense. Fined $100.

-Kchena Bisson; 30. Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Fined $100 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

-David Vanacker; 64. Operating with expired registration - failure to reregister. Fined $65.

-Murnice Myers; 54. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with 5 days suspended. If proof of insurance for six months on November 29 than fined reduced by $100 and jail reduced to two days.

Polson City Court, Judge Olson presiding

*The following court proceedings took place May 26-June 1.

-James Hoskinson; 20. Driving without a valid driver’s license. Fined $150. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance - first offense. Fined $150.

-Devin Soukkala; 18. Stop sign violation. Fined $50.

-Michael Crenshaw; 63. Local speed violation. Bond forfeited $50.

-Sandra Prosser; 46. Local speed violation. Bond forfeited $100.
