*The following district court proceedings took place June 13.
-State of Montana vs. David Martinez; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to charges of sexual intercourse without consent, a felony, count I and partner family member assault, a felony, count II. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Oct. 12 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Ronald Quaring; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement or Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a misdemeanor, count I. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. The court grants the state’s motion to dismiss Count II. For the amended offense of Count I, a misdemeanor, the court commits the defendant to the LCJ for six months with all suspended but 10 days.
-State of Montana vs. Joseph Antiste; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of 13 months with all suspended but 30 days. In addition the defendant shall be sentenced to two years commitment to the DOC, with all of that time suspended, to run consecutive to the 13 month commitment.
-State of Montana vs. Joshua Couture; the matter before the court is hearing on merits. For the offense of assault on a police officer, a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for 10 years with five suspended and would recommend defendant be considered for connections corrections followed by boot camp and pre-release.
-State of Montana vs. Michael Westmark; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, count I. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. The court grants the state’s motion to dismiss count II and III. Sentencing is set for Thursday, July 18 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Anna Williams, the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of issuing a bad check, common scheme, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, August 8 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Billie Jo Healy; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of criminal endangerment, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of four years with all suspended. The defendant shall serve 30 days in the LCJ and thirty days in an in-patient treatment program within nine months of sentencing.
-State of Montana vs. Marvin Camel; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of rights and plea agreement ordered filed. Defendant admits committing the offense of assault on a minor, a felony. The court makes its findings accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, July 25 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Marvin Camel; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of sexual assault with bodily injury, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, July 25 at 9 a.m.

*The following district court proceedings took place June 14.
-State of Montana vs. James Dempsey; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of dangerous drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for a term of three years with all suspended but 30 days.
-State of Montana vs. Joseph Cahoon; the matter before the court is answering a petition to revoke. Counsel indicates the defendant will be making admissions. The court finds the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The court sets this matter for sentencing on Thursday, July 19 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. James Dempsey; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of 13 monhts. In addition, the defendant shall be sentenced to the DOC or MSP with all suspended. This sentence is to run consecutive to DC-12-21.
-State of Montana vs. James Couture; the matter before the court is revocation hearing. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for five years with two suspended and would recommend defendant be considered for connections corrections followed by boot camp.

-Brandon Montgomery; 23. Driving under the influence of alcohol - second offense. Fined $600 and 180 days in jail with 165 suspended.
-Brandon Jeppesen; 27. Assault, purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury to another. Fined $100 and 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
-Jesus Madrigal; 28. Criminal possession of dangerous drugs - marijuana (60 grams or less) - second offense. Fined $150.
-Rick Orden; 51. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $350 and 180 days in jail with 166 days suspended. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - third or subsequent offense. Fined $500 and 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended.
-Hollie Fisher; 46. Driving without a valid driver’s license. Fined $150 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - third or subsequent offense. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended. Five days will be deferred with six months of continuos insurance provided.
-Michael Westmark; 62. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspendedor revoked. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.
-Jacob Grebetz; 23. Failure to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $50. Fined $100. Operating without liability insurance in effect - first offense. Fined $150.
-Dawn Mayer; 21. Operating without liability insurance in effect - first offense. Fined $150. Operating with expired registration - failure to reregister. Fined $50.
-Amanda Hout; 22. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance - third or subsequent offense. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. If proof of six months insurance provided then three days of jail are waived.
-Robin Bunker; 51. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.
-Sean Marshall; 19. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - third or subsequent offense. Fined $450.
