-State of Montana vs. Troy Wood; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of 13 months. In addition the defendant is committed to the DOC for five years all suspended, to run consecutive to the 13 month commitment.

The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Defendant sworn and understands the rights he is waiving. The court inquires. Defendant admits committing the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a misdemeanor. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge.
Parties are prepared to proceed to sentencing. State makes recommendations. For the amended offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a misdemeanor, the court sentences the defendant to the LCJ for six months all suspended but 30 days followed by two months of SCRAM, to be served within 180 days of sentencing.

Defendant admits committing the amended offense of criminal endangerment, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 9 a.m.
Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding
-State of Montana vs. Lisa Mitchell; the matter before the court is arraignment. Acknowledgment of rights ordered filed. Reading of information is waived. Information has been received and reviewed. Defendant is aware of her rights and the charge and possible punishment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of negligent vehicular assault, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant remains at liberty. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Joshua Markovich; the matter before the court is arraignment. Acknowledgment of rights ordered filed. Defendant addresses bond before entering plea. Defendant requests an O/R release. State objects and feels that $25,000 is appropriate. Defendant’s request for an O/R release or reduction in bail is denied, and bond remains set at $25,000. Matter moved to end of calendar.
Later that afternoon, court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant is sworn and understands the rights he is waiving. The court inquires. Defendant enters a no contest plea and admits committing the offense of attempt (burglary), a felony, count I and assault, a misdemeanor, court II. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charges. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 9 a.m.
Court grants defendant’s motion for O/R release on all conditions outlined and defendant is authorized to be released immediately and to report to the Adult Probation and Parole Office immediately.
-State of Montana vs. Darrin Matt; the matter before the court is answer petition to revoke. Revocation acknowledgment of rights is ordered filed. Defendant is sworn and admits. Court finds the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked.
Parties are prepared for sentencing. Recommendations by counsel. Court commits defendant to DOC for seven years with two suspended to be placed in an appropriate facility to be determined by the DOC. Defendant is to receive full credit for time in custody.
-State of Montana vs. Jesse McNutt; the matter before the court is answer petition to revoke. Revocation acknowledgment of rights is ordered filed. Defendant is sworn and admits. Court finds the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked.
Parties are prepared for sentencing. Recommendations by counsel. Court commits defendant to DOC for four years all of which are suspended. This sentence is to run consecutive to the sentences in Missoula and Silver Bow Counties. Defendant is to receive credit for time in custody.

Drew Wendt; 32. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle- third or subsequent offense. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. Jail reduced to 2 days if proof of six months continuous insurance provided.
Donald Mitchell; 28. Failure to notify department of change of address. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Arthur Dunkerson; 39. Partner or family member assault- second offense. Fined $300 and 365 days of jail with 360 days suspended.
Dominick Buccelli; 19. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over the age of 18)- second offense. Fined $150.
Cody Mcfarlin; 21. Driving without a valid driver’s license. Has never possessed. Fined $100.
Samuel Friesz; 32. ROW violation- failure to yield to approaching traffic when making left turn. Fined $50.
Travis Swenson; 24. Obstructing a peace office or other public servant. Fined $200 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Ryle Benke; 28. Driving under the influence of alcohol- first offense. Fined $400 and 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
