Lake County District Court, Judge Christopher presiding

*The following district court proceedings took place Feb. 23.

-State of Montana vs. Brandon Torgenrud; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads Not Guilty to the charges of Burglary, felonies, Counts I and II. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Defendant remains at liberty. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 12 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, May 21 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Xavier Streets; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads Not Guilty to the charge of Burglary, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 19 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, June 11 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Roger Pabo Jr.; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads Not Guilty to the charges of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, felonies, Counts I and II. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The defendant remains at liberty. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 12 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, May 21 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Trevor Scott; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgment of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits to committing the offense of Forgery, a felony, Count III. The state dismisses Counts I, II, IV and V. The court makes its findings accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, March 29 at 9a.m.

Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding

*The following district court proceedings took place Feb. 22.

-State of Montana vs. Lacrecia Barrows; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, a Felony. The court makes its findings accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, March 28 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Misty Dawn Truitt; the matter before the court is to answer petition to revoke. Counsel indicates defendant wishes to admit some of the allegations. The court fins the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s deferred sentence is revoked. The parties are prepared for sentencing. Recommendations by counsel. The court commits defendant to DOC for five years with all suspended. Defendant is to receive credit for time while in custody.

*The following justice court proceedings took place Feb. 17-23.

-Jessica Dooley; 35. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do is suspended or revoked. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended.

-Christopher Snyder; 32. Failure to carry proof of or exhibit insurance in a vehicle - owner or operator - second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.

-Antonio Trembly; 19. Fleeing from or eluding a peace officer. Fined $150. Improper Turn - not in the required position. Fined $50. Stop sign violation. Fined $50.

-Amanda Gullotta; 32. Failure to carry proof of or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - first offense. Fined $150. Operating with expired registration - failure to reregister. Fined $65.

-Gabriel Ouellette; 30. Failure to carry proof of or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - first offense. Fined $150.

-Collette Wilson; 23. Failure to carry proof of or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended.

-Delta English; 26. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $350 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended.

Ronan City Court, Judge Bartels presiding

*The following city court proceedings took place Feb. 6-21.

-Paulette McDermott; 56. Operating without liability insurance in effect - first offense. Fined $250 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-James Dotson; 31. Failure to carry proof of or exhibit insurance in vehicle - first offense. Fined $250 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

Polson City Court, Judge Olson presiding

*The following city court proceedings took place Feb. 18-24.

-Bethany Redmann; 36. Operating without liability insurance in effect - first offense. Fined $250.

-Daniel Flynn; 23. Partner or Family Member Assault - first offense. Fined $400 and one day in jail.

-Chanel Roberts; 20. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 - over the age of 18 - first offense. Fined $100. Obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. Fined $150.

-Daphne Mitchell; 36. Arrested on-site for a probation violation, a misdemeanor.

-Ty Miera-Adamo; 18. Arrested on-site for possession of alcohol or intoxicant, a misdemeanor. Possession of dangerous drugs, a misdemeanor. Disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

-Leslie Butler; 40. Arrested on-site for a probation violation, a felony.

Released from county jail

-Melonie Dubray; 24. Arrested on an out-of-county warrant, a misdemeanor.

-David Matt; 37. Arrested on-site for an out-of-county warrant, a misdemeanor and a probation violation, a felony.
