*The following Lake County District Court proceedings took place Feb. 8.
-State of Montana vs. Bradley Newgard; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The defendant remains at libery. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 19 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, June 11 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Autumn Desjarlais; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, a felony, the court defers imposition of sentence for a period of three years. In addition the defendant is to serve 30 days or successfully complete 30 days of inpatient chemical dependency treatment within nine months of sentencing.
-State of Montana vs. Daniel Moran; the matter before the court is sentencing on revocation. For the offense of Theft, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for five years. Previous conditions are re-imposed.
-State of Montana vs. Wesley Charlo; the matter before the court is Change of Plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits to committing the offense of Failure to Register, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, April 26 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Cesar Hernandez; the matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of Burglary, a felony, Count I and Tampering With a Communication Device, a misdemeanor. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, April 26 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, June 11 at 9 a.m.

*The following Lake County District Court proceedings took place Feb. 7.
-State of Montana vs. Roy Shostak; the matter before the court is answering a petition to revoke. Revocation Acknowledgement of Rights is ordered filed. Council indicates defendant will be making admissions. Defendant is sworn. The court finds the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The parties are ready for sentencing. The court commits defendant to DOC for six years with one year suspended. The court recommends defendant be screened for placement in the NEXUS program or other program approved by the DOC.
-State of Montana vs. Joseph McCarthy; the matter before the court is answering a petition to revoke. Revocation Acknowledgement of Rights is ordered filed. Council indicates defendant wishes to admit some of the allegations. The court finds the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The parties are prepared for sentencing. The court commits defendant to DOC for three years with one suspended. The court recommends DOC consider defendant for placement at boot camp provided it meets with the approval of the DOC. The court orders the conditions originally imposed are re-imposed. Defendant is to receive full credit for all time while in custody. Council indicates defendant does not want the suspended part. The court vacates prior sentence and commits defendant to DOC for three years.
-State of Montana vs. Eric Baszler; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea Agreement is ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Theft, a felony, Count I. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, April 11, at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Arnold McDonald; the matter before the court is change of plea. Acknowledgement of Rights and Plea agreement is ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of Partner or Family Member Assault, a misdemeanor, Count I and the offense of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence, a felony, Count III. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charges. The court grants the state’s motion to dismiss Count II. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, April 11 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Vaughn James; the matter before the court is Sentencing on Revocation. The court sentences the defendant to two years in the Montana State Prison no part of which is suspended. Defendant is to receive full credit for time while in custody.

-Zebadiah Anschuetz; 32. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - third or subsequent offense. Fined $500 and 180 days in jail with 160 days suspended.
-Ingrid Miller; 38. Reckless driving - first offense. Fined $300 and 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended. Must be completed by April 5.
-Seth Harpst; 28. Driving under the influence of alcohol - first offense. Fined $600 and 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
-Glenn Reum; 57. Habitual offender operating motor vehicle. Fined $500 and 365 days in jail with 341 days suspended. Credited for 24 days.
-Johnie Taylor; 37. Reckless driving - first offense. Fined $300 and 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.
-Ronald Printz; 69. Operating with expired registration - failure to register. Fined $65. Operating without liability insurance in effect - third or subsequent offense. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. If provides six months of continual insurance, five days waived.
-Dustin Bruyer; 31. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. Credited for two days. Obstructing a peace officer or public servant, fined $200 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. Five days are credited. False reports to law enforcement authorities. Fined $100 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
-Bram Odell; 24. Driving without a valid drivers’ license. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

-Brady Johnson; 19. Arrested on-site for possession of alcohol or intoxicant, a misdemeanor. Possession of dangerous drugs, a misdemeanor.
-Skyler Knutson; 22. Arrested on-site for three counts of criminal contempt, all misdemeanors. Unlawful transactions with children, a misdemeanor. Eluding a peace officer, a violation. Possessing drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. DUI drugs or alcohol, a misdemeanor. Driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a violation.
-Michael Garza; 30. Arrested on-site for a probation violation, a felony.
-Miranda Morency; 21. Arrested on-site while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor. No liability insurance, a misdemeanor. Two counts of criminal contempt, both misdemeanors.
-Lydia Barnaby; 50. Arrested on-site for DUI drugs or alcohol, a felony.
-Dylan Ivins; 20. Arrested on site for possession with intent to sell, a felony.
