Ronan community shows support for blood drive
RONAN — To save a few lives, Ronan students and community members gave a little of theirs. On Tuesday, March 6, Red Cross came to our local high school and held a blood drive. It was the first annual blood drive for Ronan High School. The high school’s National Honor Society and Health Occupations Students of America partnered with the Red Cross to collect a total of 37 pints, enough to potentially help save 111 lives.
It was a wonderful sight to see, people lined up to donate and the signup sheets were full within two days of notifying the students and community. Many of the students that signed up to donate also helped work the drive.
