Marsha Coggeshall Manley Hunter

Marsha Coggeshall Manley Hunter, 61, passed away on April 28, 2012 of complications associated with multiple sclerosis.

Marsha was born July 9, 1950 in Missoula, Mont. to Jack and Shirley Coggeshall. She grew up in Missoula graduating from Sentinel High School in 1968. After attending business school in Spokane, Wash., she returned to marry her high school sweetheart, Jim Manley. They spent several years in Oregon where Jim taught high school and eventually attended law school. They returned to Montana in 1978. Marsha and Jim raised four children: Kris, Ann, Casey and Marcy.

Marsha and Jim divorced in 1983. She then married Victor Burland, who was diagnosed with cancer right after their wedding and died shortly thereafter. Marsha later married Jeff Hunter. Several years later, they divorced. Marsha spent her remaining years with her partner, Kevin Morin. Kevin and Marsha were together for 16 years, living in Polson and Lolo. Kevin cared for her at home until her multiple sclerosis progressed.

Marsha resided at Polson Health and Rehab for the last four years, where she made many good friends. Marsha loved playing cards, bingo, and most of all, watching movies.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Coggeshall and Shirley Coggeshall, and her husband, Victor Burland. Marsha is survived by her children: Kris Sampson, Polson, Ann Moderie (Link), Polson, Casey Manley (Tabatha), Maricopa, Ariz., and Marcy Richards (Josh), Polson. Marsha had nine grandchildren: Riley, Erin, Cedrick, Chadelle, Kaitlyn, Coby, Kael, Mack and Sophia.
