Lake County District Court, Judge Christopher presiding
* The following district court proceedings took place April 26.
-State of Montana vs. Daphne Mitchell; the matter before the court is to answer a petition to revoke. The court finds the state provided sufficient evidence to support the petition to revoke the Defendant’s suspended sentence. Ready for sentencing. For the offense of Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, a felony, the court commits the Defendant to MWP for four years.
-State of Montana vs. Tamaria Ely; the matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of Criminal Possession with Intent to Distribute, a felony, the court commits the Defendant to the DOC for a term of 10 years with all suspended. In addition, the defendant is to complete 30 days inpatient criminal treatment program at MCDC. Parties agree that the Defendant has successfully completed the 30 days at MCDC prior to sentencing.

* The following district court proceedings took place April 25.
-State of Montana vs. Dennis Gillingham; the matter before the court is sentencing. The state indicates the victim and family do not support the plea agreement by the state continues to support the plea agreement and reminds the defendant that every single provision in it will be enforced. Recommendations by counsel pursuant to plea agreement. The court sentences defendant to MSP for 15 years with all suspended but 30 days house arrest to be completed within 60 days of court date.
-State of Montana vs. Misty Whitworth; the matter before the court is omnibus hearing. Acknowledgment of Rights and Plea Agreement is ordered filed. The court has reviewed and accepts the plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of Forgery by Common Scheme, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant Guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, May 30 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Daniel Durglo; the matter before the court is sentencing. Recommendations by counsel pursuant to the plea agreement. The court commits defendant to DOC for five years with all suspended but thirty days. Defendant is to receive credit for time already served resulting in no additional jail time.

-Ronae Tatsey; 18. Driving without a valid drivers license. Fined $100. Failure to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - first offense. Fined $150.
-Brianna Walker; 33. Operating without liability insurance in effect - second offense. Fined $150.
-Everett Burton; 29. Operating with expired registration. Failure to reregister. Fined $50.
St. Ignatius City Court; Judge Richardson presiding
* The following St. Ignatius city court proceedings took place April 1-28.
-Olaf Ison; 27. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator - first offense. Fined $250.

-Wendy Holzinger; 2 dogs at large, chasing cars near police department. Fined $50 and six months in jail with six months suspended.
