CRUISIN' BY THE BAY

Please click on the flyer below for the Cruisin' By The Bay schedule of Events. Friday Registration: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. @ Riverside Park (HWY 93). Watch for sign and parking attendants. Poker Run: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Cruise - starts at 5 p.m. at Riverside Park. Parade: starts at 6 p.m. Saturday Registration: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Post Office Parking Lot (3rd Ave. & 1st Street). Poker Walk: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Kids Carnival: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Corner of Main Street & 5th Avenue. 50 - 50 Tickets - sold all day Friday and 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday. Award Ceremony: 3 p.m. in front of information booth. Parade of winners. Bop-A-Dips Free Concert: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. in Riverside Park (Food vendors available). August 10 - 11, 2012. WATER DAZE

This is an event to celebrate the efforts of Mission Valley Aquatics as they raise funds to build an indoor swimming facility in Polson. There will be a 1One mile swim race at Boettcher Park beginning at 1 p.m. There will be lots of fun activities for the kids and a BBQ. There will also be a fun swim after the 1 mile swim. Registration is 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for adults and 1 p.m. for children. August 4, 2012 Contact: Tana Seeley 406-883-4567

ART FESTIVAL

The 41st annual  Sandpiper Lake County Art Festival takes place on the Polson Courthouse lawn Saturday, August 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in conjunction with "Cruisin By the Bay" Vintage Car Show. There will be fine art originals in all media, jewelry, handmade furniture, bird houses, hand sewn items, stained glass, rose mauling, pottery, candles and sculpture and many other interesting and unique items. In addition to the many returning artists, there will be new artists displaying in this popular juried event. There will be varied musical entertainment and food concessions throughout the day. ROTARY CHILI COOK OFF

Chili Cook-Off at Riverside Park on the South side of the Armed Forces Bridge in Polson, children's games and activities, raffle, etc. This year's Annual Polson Rotary Festival for the Youth is once again an effort to raise funds to support a local project oriented towards the youth of our local community. Polson Rotary is proud to support the Mission Valley Mariners and the improvements and stadium lighting being constructed on their home field. The improvements and lighting will enable them to host tournaments and enhance the overall functionality of the ball field.
