Marilyn Marlene (Gokey) Baltz

Marilyn Marlene Baltz, of Ronan, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 3:45 a.m. at home, with her family and Kathy, an R.N. from hospice, by her side.

Marilyn was born Nov. 21, 1945 in Burlington, Vt. She was the daughter of Joseph R. Gokey and Helen Gokey. Marilyn grew up in Missoula, Mont. where she met and married Gene Schwaderer in October 1965. Marilyn was the widow of Gale Matt of Pablo, Mont. Then she later met and married Paul Baltz, from Ronan, on May 27, 1994. She was employed by Mission Mountain Enterprise, as a C.N.A. for 14 years.

She was preceded in death by her niece Jennifer Gonzales and parents, Helen and Joseph Gokey.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Paul Baltz; one daughter, Shannon Schwaderer, born Aug. 5, 1969; one granddaughter, Stephine Adams; four sisters, Phyllis Wilkerson from Arizona, Rene’e Fettig from Billings, Jackie Hire from Moyer Spring, Idaho and Tina Clark from Spokane, Wash.; one brother, Gary Gokey from Denver, Colo. and she had several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. at 41723 Trails End Lane in Ronan, Mont.
