*The following district court cases took place on Oct. 31.

-State of Montana vs. Lisa Mitchell. The matter before the court is sentencing. On the charge of negligent vehicular assault the defendant is sentenced to 10 years with all suspended.

-State of Montana vs. Jay Clark. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus on Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Travis Lozeau. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to two charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court sets the matter for omnibus hearing on Wednesday, Dec. 26 with a jury trial commencing on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Antoine Tenas. The matter before the court is change of plea. Defendant pleads guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Jesse Big Beaver. The matter before the court is revocation of sentence. For committing the offense of burglary, a felony and therein violating the conditions of his suspended sentence the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for 8 years with 4 suspended.

*The following district court cases took place on Nov. 1.

-State of Montana vs. Eli Dubois. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the offense of assault with a weapon, a felony.  An omnibus hearing is set for Jan. 24, 2013 with a jury trial commencing on Feb. 25, 2013.

-State of Montana vs. Daryl Gebeau. The matter before the court is change of plea. The defendant pleads guilty to the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony.  Sentencing is set for Dec. 13.

- State of Montana vs. Bethany Caye. The matter before the court is change of plea. The defendant pleads guilty to the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. Sentencing is set for Dec. 13.

*The following justice court proceedings took place Oct. 26-Nov. 1.

-Marjorie Hickey; 62. Driving under the influence of alcohol-first offense, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended, 1 day credited.  Fined $500.

- Asa Lehrke; 47. Disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Fined $100.

- William Johnson; 23. Driving without valid drivers license, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Fined $250.

- Jasmin Shourds; 34. Driving under the influence of any drug-(narcotic, etc.) first offense, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 179 suspended. Must complete jail time by the end of Nov. Fined $ 300.

- Daniel Dewitt; 31. Reckless driving-first offense, a misdemeanor. 90 days in jail with 90 suspended. Fined $300.

- Dean Cooper; 44. Speeding on non-interstate. Fined $40. Failure to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle-owner or operator-first offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $500. Reckless driving-first offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $300.

- Eric Poole; 47. Stop sign violation, a misdemeanor. $50. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle-owner or operator-second offense, a misdemeanor. 5 days in jail with 5 suspended. Fined $350.

- Michael Smith; 20. Failure to give notice of accident by quickest means/ apparent damage over $500. Fined $200. Careless driving, a misdemeanor. Fined $50. Seatbelt  violation. Fined $20. Obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, a misdemeanor. Fined $200.

- Mark Conner; 61. Speeding-exceed restricted special zone, a misdemeanor. Fined $100.

*The following city court proceedings took place Oct. 27-Nov. 2.

-Diane Worley; 53. Reckless driving-first offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $300.

-Carlos Perry; 54. Obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, a misdemeanor. Fined $200.

-Skyler Connerton; 18. Possessing intoxicating substance while under age of 21(over age 18)-first offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $100. Obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, a misdemeanor. Fined $200. Disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Fined $60.

-Kenclena Rodriquez; 34. Assault, a misdemeanor. Fined $200.

Booked into county jail

*The following people were booked into the county jail from Oct. 30-Nov. 5, but in most cases have not had a chance to enter a plea. They are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.

-Skyler Connerton; 18.  Arrested on-site for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Obstructing a peace officer,a misdemeanor, possession of alcohol or intoxicant, a misdemeanor.

-Arthur Dunkerson; 40. Arrested on-site for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, driving while license is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor.

-Jonah Matt; 25. Arrested on-site on an out of county warrant, a felony.

-Mark Davidson; 26. Arrested on-site for driving while license is suspended or revoked, a violation, no liability insurance, a violation and criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.

Released from county jail

- Taija Collier; 25. Arrested on-site for carrying concealed weapon, a misdemeanor.

- Levi Goings; 49. Arrested on-site for DUI drugs or alcohol, a felony.

- Juan Callejas; 27. Arrested on-site for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, no valid drivers license, a misdemeanor and DUI drugs or alcohol, a misdemeanor.

- Christopher Courville; 31. Arrested on-site for a probation violation, a felony.

- Michele Nygard; 19. Arrested on-site for DUI, a misdemeanor.
