Mission Chamber Sets Christmas Events
The following activities were decided on by the St. Ignatius Chamber of Commerce: Saturday, Dec. 1 will begin with a children’s Christmas Carnival at the Community Center at 2 p.m. There will be many activities and booths with lots of prizes and treats for everyone. The Christmas Tree lighting activities will begin at 5 p.m. at Gareipy Park with chili, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. Caroling from a hay wagon will follow with a Light Parade. This year we would like to have more float entries not only from businesses but also by our local churches and organizations. There is no entry fee, and it is a lot of fun for everyone. This year there will be posters put up before the event showing the planned parade route so those who would like to watch can chose where they would like to be. For information you may contact Darren Orr at Mountain View Cenex, Janis Heffern at Lake County Bank, Candy Feroni at Valley Bank or any Chamber member.
