*The following district court cases took place on Sept. 26.
-State of Montana vs. Delicia Morigeau. The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of assault with a weapon, a felony and criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court sets the matter for omnibus on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, Feb. 4 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Chase Kuntz. The matter before the court is change of plea. Defendant enters a no contest plea and admits committing the offense of arson, a felony. The court accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Misty Truitt. The matter before the court is for hearing of merits. Defendant made admissions and her suspended sentence is revoked. The court commits the defendant to the DOC for 5 years no part of which is suspended.
- State of Montana vs. Bryce Parker. The matter before the court is sentencing. The court defers imposition of sentence for 2 years and sentences the defendant to LCJ for 6 months with all suspended but 10 days for the charges of criminal endangerment, a felony and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a misdemeanor.

*The following district court cases took place on Sept. 27.
- State of Montana vs. Jeffery Hogan. The matter before the court is adjudication hearing. Defendant made admissions to a violation dated April 27. The court finds the admissions are sufficient and the defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. For the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the DOC for 2 years.
-State of Montana vs. Xavier Streets. The matter before the court is for sentencing. For the offense of sexual assault, a felony, the court commits the defendant to MSP for 40 years with 20 suspended. For the offense of burglary the court commits the defendant to the DOC for a term of 5 years with all suspended.
- State of Montana vs. Magic Johnson. The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of forgery, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at 9 a.m.

- Dustin Clark; 32. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Fined $365.
- Christopher Curry; 41. Driving without a valid drivers license, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Fined $350.
- Evan Heissman; 19. Operating without liability insurance in effect-first offense, a misdemeanor. 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended. Fined $250.
- Derek Smith; 45. Reckless driving-first offense, a misdemeanor. 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended. Fined $300.
- Lance Wright; 27. Reckless driving-first offense, a misdemeanor. 90 days in jail with 90 suspended. Fined $300.
- Wendy Merritt; 36. Operating without liability insurance in effect-second offense, a misdemeanor. 10 days in jail with 10 suspended. Fined $350.
- Del Wayne Placid; 28. Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Fined $100.
- Andrew Wickman; 25. Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Fined $100.
- Sheldon Ashley; 20. Criminal possession of dangerous drugs-marijuana(60 grams or less) -first offense, a misdemeanor. 180 days in jail with 180 suspended. Fined $100.
- James Corcoran; 81. Driving under the influence of alcohol-second offense, a misdemeanor. 7 days in jail with 7 suspended. Fined $600.

*The following people were booked into the county jail from Sept. 26-Oct. 2, but in most cases have not had a chance to enter a plea. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
- Gregory Hindle; 49. Arrested on a warrant for DUI - refusal, a misdemeanor, obstructing a peace officer, a misdemeanor, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor careless driving, a misdemeanor and criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
- Jazmin Auld; 18. Arrested on-site for driving a vehicle in unsafe condition, a misdemeanor. No valid drivers license, a misdemeanor, possession of dangerous drugs, a felony and criminal sale of dangerous drugs, a felony.
-Elijah Barnaby; 19. Arrested on-site for possession of dangerous drugs, a felony.
- Jakob Birdsley; 28. Arrested on-site for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
