*The following district court cases took place Oct. 11.

- State of Montana vs. Jazmin Auld. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony and criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Elijah Barnaby. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court sets the matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at 9 a.m.

*The following justice court proceedings took place Oct. 4- Oct. 11. 

-Joseph Logan; 29. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor. 2 days in jail with 2 suspended. Fined $250.

Polson City Court, Judge Olson presiding.

*The following city court proceedings took place Oct. 

- Lucas Cross; 31. Operating without liability insurance in effect-first offense. Fined $250. Operating with expired registration-failure to reregister. Fined $150.

- Jessica James; 21. Driving without a valid drivers license, a misdemeanor. Fined $150. Owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance -second offense, a misdemeanor. Fined $350. 

Booked into county jail 

*The following people were booked into the county jail from Oct. 12-15,but in most cases have not had a chance to enter a plea. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

- Daniel Durglo; 27. Arrested on-site for probation violation, a misdemeanor. 

- Dalena Weaselhead; 20. Arrested on-site for possess alcohol or intoxicant, a misdemeanor. Obstructing a peace officer, a misdemeanor.

- Cheyenne Morton; 21. Arrested on-site for assault, simple, a misdemeanor.

- Shilo Brown; 35. Arrested on-site for assault with a weapon. 

- Whitney Phillips; 25. Arrested on a warrant for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. 

Released from county jail 

- Thomas Dale; 51. Arrested on-site for aggravated DUI, a misdemeanor. 

- Bette Baker; 64. Arrested on-site for issuing a bad check, a misdemeanor.
