*The following district court cases took place Oct. 17.
- State of Montana vs. Valdena Curley. The matter before the court is for sentencing on revocation. The court commits the defendant to five years in the Department of Corrections. The original charge was criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony.
-State of Montana vs. Shanley Thompson. The matter before the court is sentencing. The court commits defendant to five years in the Department of Corrections with 3 years suspended for the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
-State of Montana vs. Allen Matt. The matter before the court is arraignment. The defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal mischief, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Dakota McCarty. The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of failure to give notice of change of address by sexual or violent offender, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Eddie Woodcock. The matter before the court is change of plea. Defendant admits to the offense of criminal possession with intent to distribute, a felony. The court accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of the charge. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Desiree Peone. The matter before the court is sentencing. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for a term of four years.
-State of Montana vs. Arthur Matt. The matter before the court is sentencing. For the amended offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to the Department of Corrections for a term of five years with all suspended.
- State of Montana vs. Jeremiah Mitchell. The matter before the court is for arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing Tuesday, Jan 22, 2013 at 9 a.m.
- State of Montana vs. Loren Hernandez. The matter before the court is arraignment. Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of assault with a weapon, a felony. The court sets this matter for omnibus on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing at Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at 9 a.m.

- Philip Friscia; 26. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor. Fined $250. Obstructing a peace officer or public servant, a misdemeanor. Fined $300. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor. 2 days in jail with no days suspended. Fined $ 250.
- Samuel Friscia; 22. Disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Fined $60. Carrying concealed weapon, a misdemeanor. $200. Theft-obtain or exert unauthorized control over property-first offense, a misdemeanor. 1 day in jail with no days suspended.
Booked into county jail.
*The following people were booked into county jail from Oct.17- Oct. 23., but in most cases have not had a chance to enter a plea. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
- Angelica Campos; 22. Arrested on a warrant for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
- Daniel Ramirez; 29. Arrested on-site for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
- Melanie Holsapple; 41. Arrested on-site for a probation violation, a felony.
- Jack Rohrbach; 22. Arrested on a warrant for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
Released from county jail.
- Kara Elmore; 23. Arrested on-site for DUI-refusal, a misdemeanor.
- Billy Washburn; 33. Arrested on a warrant, a felony. Driving while suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor. Aggravated DUI, a felony. Negligent endangerment, a misdemeanor.
