Harper Abelardo Chavira

Harper Abelardo Chavira was born Aug. 29 at Western Medical Center in Tustin, Calif. He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches long. Mother is Chelsea Elizabeth Chavira. Grandparents are Laurie Jean McDonald of Tustin and Abelardo J. Chavira of Pico Rivera, Calif. Great grandparents are the late Cecil W. Lester, Kentucky and the late Betty Jean McDonald Lester and Maria I. Chavira and the late Abelardo Chavira of Pico Rivera. Harper is the great great grandson of the late John and Lydia Luddington McDonald of St. Ignatius. He is a direct descendant of Angus and Catherine McDonald. There is a large extended family in California as well as in Montana. Baby Harper was welcomed to the family home by his Auntie Hayley Jean M. Chavira.

Kaylee Smith

Michael, Katelyn & Karly are proud to announce the arrival of their little sister Kaylee Smith who was born on Aug. 31 at St. Joseph Medical Center.  She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Parents are Adam & Tyana Smith.

Lucas John Willer

Hayley & Olivia Willer are proud to announce the arrival of their little brother Lucas John Willer who was born on Aug. 12 at St. Joseph Medical Center.  He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Parents are Jason & Brooke Willer.

Takoda Ray McLeod

Alfred McLeod III, and Sierra Mahseelah of Polson are proud to announce the arrival of their first child, Takoda Ray McLeod who was born on Aug. 16 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Takoda weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 ½ inches. Paternal grandparents are Alfred McLeod Jr. and Sherry McLeod of Dixon. Great-grandparent is Leota Grenier-McLeod of Ronan. Maternal grandparents are Char and Ross Neal of Charlo and Larry Mahseelah of St. Ignatius and Darlene Finley of Polson.

Jaxson Lee Currie-Hammer

Addison Noelle Currie-Hammer is proud to announce the arrival of her little brother Jaxson Lee Currie-Hammer who was born Aug. 17 at St. Joseph Medical Center.  He weighed 7 pounds, 1.2 ounces. Parents are Bobby Hammer and Kristin Currie.  Paternal grandparents are Kathy Mclure of Ronan, Linda and the late Melvin Brown of Pablo. Great-grandparent is Rachel Bowers of Pablo.  Maternal grandparents are Jack Currie and Eloise Shepard of St. Ignatius. Great-grandparents are the late Enid Andrew, Joy Miller and Jim Shepard of Ronan.

Vadelym Nave Calf Child

Vadelym Nave Calf Child was born on Aug. 21 at St. Joseph Medical Center and weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. Parent is Genesis Old Person.

Dakota Jacob Lee Chase

John Chase and Jolene Burland of Pablo are proud to announce the arrival of their third child, Dakota Jacob Lee Chase, who was born Aug. 22 at St. Luke Community Hospital Ronan. Dakota weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and joins siblings Dalilah Chase and Dustin Chase. Paternal grandparents are Debbie and Chris Anderson of Kenai, Alaska. Maternal grandparents are Bill and Mary Rogers of Ronan.

Angelina Star Houle

Angelina Star Houle was born Aug. 27 at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan.  She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces. Parents are Josiah Houle and Tricia Davis of Polson. Paternal grandparents are Penny Cobell and Mike Houle of Pablo. Maternal grandparents are Tina Davis and Mike Grenfell of Missoula.
