Whether this is your first year home schooling, or you have been teaching your children for decades, home-educating moms need encouragement and support. Let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds in our home school endeavors. You don’t need to be a professional to be the best teacher your child could ever have. Come join us on Friday, Sept. 14, 7 p.m., at the Doty Home for a dose of reassurance. For more information or for directions, please call 849-5169.

Scrap Metal Drive

The Valley View School Scrap Metal Drive is finishing up. Our first container was full to overflowing with donations, so a second container is now located nearby at the home of Shane & Callie Orien, at 45135 Riverbreak Lane southwest of the school.  (We need to clean up the school area since school is starting!)  If you have any last scrap metal donations, please don’t hesitate to call the school at 883-2208.  Because of our generous community, we have raised over $7,000 towards our goal of $10,000 to replenish the school reserve fund.  Valley View School thanks you, Mission Valley!
