Antoinette V. Barba

Antoinette V. Barba, age 92, passed away Monday, Sept. 17 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Antoinette was born July 25, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Antoinette attended and graduated from Easton High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.  She married Peter J. Barba, Sr. in 1944 in N.Y. Antoinette moved to Polson in 2007 to live with her sons. Her hobbies included reading, painting, and walking. Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Mary Sena; and brother, Paul DeMatteo. She is survived by her sons, Peter (Karen) Barba, and Andrew (Nancy) Barba, all of Polson. A funeral service was held Sunday, Sept. 23 at Grogan Funeral Home with John Payne officiating. Antoinette will be interred in Matawan, N.J.
